Rachel Bagby: Guestbook

Jean Shinoda Bolen

January 26, 2010

Hi Rachel: I thought of you and recommended you to be a guest on Women Evolving the World. I was on it a week ago, as an advocate for a UN NGO World Conference on Women and generated some wonderful support through a petition (www.jeanbolen.com). Haven't crossed paths for a long time, but recall you with a warm heart. Blessings, Jean

I am getting married at the end of March and would love to have my family sing Praises as the ceremony begins. Is there somewhere I can find the sheet music? I have taken your CD with me everywhere. It has been music to calm me when travelling and music to rejoice with. Thank you! and thank you for any suggestions on where to look for the choral arrangement/sheet music.

Thank you for your beautiful song, Full Woman, the one which has inspired a destiny path for me I never expected...I feel fortunate that we have interconnected in this lifetime. I look forward to connecting with you towards the end of the year with a finished mock-up of the slide show. I'm just now organizing my trip to Africa for the Fall, which will likely start in Kenya. It's my last trip for this destiny-led project. It's taken years, never expected that, but surrendering to the organic process has produced results that have been surprising and humbling. Including a one-woman show of 20x30" photos, printed by a master printer, from my travels, which is opening this February at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. My gratitude to you is beyond articulation. We never know how what we do will affect the life of another. Thank you again for having such beauty come through you. As always, much love, linda

Across The Line is thought provoking and peaceful. You are my inspiration to freedom!

I am currently ministering through a praise and worship team at a 6am service. We have gone through several transitions in the last 3 years and it is very difficult to find muscians and singers to committ to a service at that time. Please keep us lifted in prayer as we strive for excellence in His name with whatever resources we're given.

Bravo for all that you do, and particularly what you have done with Vote Kindly!
Now that the election is over, with a wonderful victory for change, might you have interest in gathering folks to work toward establishing Early Voting here in Virginia?

I'd love to hear about what you're doing now. I just found this page. I've been going back to Divine Daughters page for last couple of years looking for something new.

Just found out about Rachel through the Rev. Bob Tussing of Dublin, Ohio. Short on time right now. Will stop back later to explore the page thoroughly.

I would just love to have piano music to Praises for the Beauty. Your music is embodied--a fully being experience. Thank you!

Rachel, my Sister!
The spirit told me it was time to find you
to reconnect and find out how you were doing.
I am so glad to see that you are well and spreading the light as always!
As usual, I am so proud of you and look forward to hearing from you soon!
Blessings to you always! Love ya, Pat

Rachel,

I am Rosie Tooley, the purchaser of your mother's property... I want you to know what God has done to continue the vision given to Mrs. Bagby to help others. I now have Philadelphia's first homeless shelter for married couples. Praise God! Some of the "common law" couples are now getting married. The first wedding was held at the facility on February 14th. Isn't that beautiful! The facility has 24 hr/7 day care provided by RHD a nonprofit organization. Please let me know when you will be in town. Perhaps you would like to see what is happening with your mother's dream.

With love,

Rosie

I heard a replay of a recording you did with Ben Mack about your Legend Platform.

The energy and passion in that conversation touched my heart. Not only the work you and Ben did, but the word "Daughtering".

I'm "Daughtering" (from a sons perspective) and would enjoy a conversation to explore the possibilty of a languge we can all use to make this message clear.

Thank you for the inspiration Rachel.

Greetings!

I am a singer in Resonance, Women's Chorus of Boulder. We're a 5 year-old, 118-member strong group of women directed by Sue Coffee. Resonance performs our own program every Spring, and at various community events. For example, last Spring we hosted a special concert with Holly Near, and we will be perfroming tonight (11/9/6) at a post-election community gathering sponsored by PFLAG called "Moving Forward, Win or Lose".

My experience in the chorus has been life-changing. I am right now reading Divine Daughters, and my personal intention this season is to experience "becoming the sung" and all the healing and power that process can give.

Last year, our director Sue Coffee asked our input regarding any composers we would like to see included in our program, and specifically any composers we could commission. I regret not having found your book then, because had I known about your work I would have insisted you be considered. However, Resonance is not going anywhere, and it would be a wonderful opportunity to preview Reaching Across the Lines and reccommend it or another commission for next season!

Thank you for all that your are, share, and do.

All is so good, that I’d like to find out any mistake or discrepancy, but I have not found. Take my words; it is not insulting for me. I am really very glad for you!

Aieee! I forgot to write "ReachXL" when I signed up for email. I'm a bit rusty when it comes to encouraging communities voicing together,
and any help would be appreciated! Do you ever do workshops/trainings for therapists, community leaders, etc? Blessings to you-
Peggy
